1235,8079,8011 aluminum foil for flexible packaging
This kind of foil can be laminated with paper or other materials to make the packaging of tobacco and food.In addition to cigarette packaging, the applications of alu foil in the packaging industry mainly include: alu-plastic composite bags, pharmaceutical alu foil blister packaging and chocolate packaging. Some high-end beer is also wrapped with alu foil on the bottle mouth.
Alu foil is alu prepared in thin metal leaves with a thickness less than 0.2 mm; thinner gauges down to 6 mic are also widely used. HHF is typically 0.016 mm thick, and heavy duty household foil is typically 0.024 mm. The foil is pliable, and can be readily bent or wrapped around objects. Thin foils are fragile and are sometimes laminated to other materials such as plastics or paper to make them more useful.
Approximately 75% of alu foil is used for packaging of foods, cosmetics, and chemical products, and 25% used for industrial applications (e.g. thermal insulation, cables and electronics). It can be recycled.
