The content of Si and Fe, Fe/Si ratio and the size of compound phase have great influence on the rolling property of aluminum foil. The solid solution of Fe and Si in aluminum not only increases the hardness of the material, but also improves the deformation resistance and the working hardening rate of the material, which is not conducive to rolling. Moreover, with the gradual decrease of rolling thickness, if the content of Fe and Si in solid solution is higher, the thick second phase formed is more likely to cause pinhole production, and serious even lead to belt break, so as to reduce the content of Fe and Si in solid solution as much as possible, so that Fe and Si can be fully precipitated. The results show that when the Fe/Si ratio is between 2.0 and 3.0, the compound phase of 1235 aluminum alloy is mainly the -AlFESi phase, which is the most conducive to the rolling production of aluminum foil. Therefore, in the configuration of 1235 aluminum alloy components, Fe content should be greater than Si content, Fe/Si ratio control between 2.0 and 3.5, generally take Si content between 0.08% and 0.15% is the most appropriate.
