Ingredient: ingredient is an important link to ensure the stability of chemical composition. The furnace charge shall be clean and free of sediment, rain, snow and other inclusions; the ratio of new metal to recycled material shall be relatively fixed in each melting time; the content range of controlled alloy elements and impurities shall be measured and calculated in detail to ensure the accuracy of ingredients.
Melting and refining: melting and refining have the most direct influence on the chemical composition, the number of pores and pinholes of the final product. During melting, the melt should be avoided from overheating to prevent adverse effects on the corrosion resistance of the product; for the alloy requiring composition adjustment, the composition should be adjusted after the initial sampling of the basic aluminum material, and the alloy should be fully stirred to ensure that the alloy composition is uniform; it is very important to strictly control and remove the gas and inclusions in the melt to reduce the holes and needle like defects in the aluminum foil products, Generally, the hydrogen content of melt should be less than 0.15ml / (100gal), and the filtration rate of 20 μ m inclusion should not be less than 60%.
Casting and milling surface: casting quality has a great influence on the uniformity of product structure and internal defects, and poor milling surface quality is easy to cause pressing defects. During casting, reasonable casting process parameters should be established, including casting temperature, casting speed, cooling water temperature, water pressure, etc., to avoid macro defects such as cold shut and hanging slip on the surface of ingot, and defects such as loose, inclusion and coarse second phase compound structure inside the ingot; online grain refinement measures should be implemented to prevent coarse grains; site process hygiene should be strictly managed, Prevent dust from falling into the melt.
Homogenization treatment: homogenization treatment can effectively eliminate dendrite segregation, dissolve non-equilibrium phase, and make the metal structure tend to homogenize, which will eventually form uniform surface corrosion of aluminum foil products and prevent corrosion stripes caused by uneven structure. Compared with ordinary aluminum foil, the upper limit of homogenization treatment temperature should be adopted for aluminum alloy ingot used to produce negative aluminum foil, which is usually no less than 550 ℃.
