What are the types of aluminum foil blanks?
Currently, aluminum foil billets are divided into hot-rolled billets (DC materials) and cast-rolled billets (CC materials) according to production methods. Both of these blanks meet the technical standards, but due to the different production methods, there are differences in the metallographic structure and intermetallic compound composition between them, which leads to the quality difference in the production of double zero foils.
Hot rolled billet is a billet produced by sawing, milling, heating, hot rolling, cold rolling and annealing of large ingots (the thickest slab is 600mm).
cast-rolled billet is a billet produced from continuous cast-rolled strip (generally 6-8mm thick) after cold rolling and annealing.
The choice of hot rolling or cast rolling depends mainly on the variety and performance requirements of the aluminum foil to be produced.
Aluminium foil used lamination foil
Light-gauge aluminum foil, provides a cost-effective and safe way to package food, medicine and other consumer goods.
foil is also widely used in sachets and pouches, dairy lids, bottleneck foil, capsules, labels, seals and other applications.
