Aluminium foil: a survival tool that has been underrated, not just barbecue tools

It can be eaten with what appears to be grilled food, and it can also provide many uses in survival. It is one of the underrated survival tools.

Block sun

Aluminum foil can make glacier goggles to prevent snow blindness. Fold the aluminum foil into a 15 x 5 cm strip, and then attach it to your face. Then cut out the nose space on the aluminum foil and cut out the horizontal seam at the eyes. Fold the corners of the metal foil to reinforce it, then poke a hole and put on the rope.

Make a splint

Wrap the broken finger with a cloth. Then fold several layers of aluminum foil into a metal strip that is twice the length of a finger. Then place it on the broken finger and fold it in half. In this way, splints on both sides can be formed on the broken finger. And it is easy to change shape and can be fixed on the broken finger at the most comfortable angle.

Sign out for help

The aluminum foil has a shiny surface that reflects light, making it ideal for use as a signal mirror. Using the sun's reflected light to send a distress signal is a very good way.

Make a square frame with branches, or a circular plate. The foil is then wrapped in a frame or circular plate made of this branch, and the sunlight is reflected to signal the aircraft. Aluminum foil smoothes best. If you don't have time to hold it outdoors, you can also tie aluminum foil to trees and bushes in open areas.
