The high efficiency of aluminum foil packaging also means that aluminum foil packaging is beneficial for lightweighting, improving transportation efficiency and energy efficiency. The aluminum foil is light in weight and good in performance, minimizing the amount of packaging material used. Aluminum foil packaging increases the efficiency of the transportation, storage and distribution process and therefore helps save energy for the value chain process. For example, from the beverage filling plant to the retail chain, when the same car transports glass (1490, -1.00, -0.07%) bottled beverages, the weight of the package accounts for 52.3% of the volume of transportation, and the beverage is only 42.7%; In composite flexible packaging, the weight of the package accounts for 6.1% of the volume of transportation, and the beverage is only 93.9%. The transport efficiency of these two packages is of course very different. In addition, the amount of packaging material shipped from the packaging supplier to the filling canner is equivalent to 26 trucks of non-flexible packaging material using a soft pack of trucks, which is a huge difference in material consumption.
