What is aluminum foil?
Aluminum foil is a very thin aluminum coil, strip or sheet obtained after rolling aluminum and aluminum alloy strips. In China, aluminum and aluminum alloy sheet strips having a thickness of less than 0.2 mm are generally referred to as aluminum foil.
Classification of aluminum foil:
1. According to the shape, it can be divided into rolled aluminum foil and sheet aluminum foil. The majority of aluminum foil products are supplied in rolls, and only a handful of hand-packed customers use sheet-like aluminum foil.
2. According to the thickness, it can be divided into three types: thick foil, single zero foil and double zero foil. The thick foil is a foil having a thickness of 0.1-0.2 mm, the single-zero foil is a foil having a thickness of 0.01 mm and less than 0.1 mm, and the double-zero foil is a foil having a thickness of mm in the measurement unit and having two zeros after the decimal point.
3. According to the state, mainly the full hard state foil, soft state foil, semi-hard state foil, quarter hard foil and three quarters of hard foil. according to the surface state can be divided into single-sided light foil and double-sided light foil. According to the use, it is divided into packaging foil, commodity foil, electrical equipment foil and construction foil.
4. Properties of aluminum foil: thin and light, high specific strength, good gloss, high thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity, high moisture resistance, non-toxic, odorless, good light-blocking, heat-insulating, good corrosion resistance .
